At the beginning of 2024, Honda Australia partnered with the Melbourne Stars BBL team, providing the players and wider team with Honda’s extensive SUV range to experience the Joy for themselves.
Honda’s SUV range is made up of the Honda CR-V, Honda ZR-V and Honda HR-V, all of which come in a hybrid variant.
The Melbourne Stars team have been provided with access to all Honda models to utilise, based on their community engagements and travel requirements.
The Honda CR-V is the ultimate family car that comes in both 5 and 7 seats, which is no wonder why the Melbourne Stars team is in awe of what it brings to the table in terms of space, versatility, design, and technology.

The Honda ZR-V boasts an elevated and contemporary design and is the newest nameplate for Honda in Australia. While the HR-V is the smallest of the SUV range, the hybrid variant offers exceptional efficiency, clean contemporary design and clever packaging to maximise interior space. Allowing the Melbourne Stars team to comfortably zip into tight parking spots with all their gear at hand.
“Many of our squad have young families so the extra room across the SUV range meant the child seats could easily fit, as well as all their cricket gear! Several of our players are now looking to purchase one for their day to day lives back home” mentioned Blair.
